MYTHS

Much of what we were taught was nothing more than good ad copy.

MYTH NUMBER ONE.  Your home is an investment.

Is it?

You have to pay taxes on it to your city, county. MONEY OUT.

You have to maintain it. MONEY OUT.

Your equity, they will loan it back to you at interest. Where do you own anything.

It will appreciate, for the taxing authority. Not you.

If you live in it, it has not one investment qualifier.

If you buy and sell, it is not home.

Real estate only creates value when you get rid of it. Everything else is an illusion.

MYTH NUMBER TWO. Labor is not an investment. It became obsolete in this country a long time ago. You can sub-contract it out to other countries cheaper than you can do it here.

WE CANNOT COMPETE with the lifestyles of our neighboring countries.

I cannot afford to raise chickens or plant anything because of the minimum wages required in this country. The taxing authorities have put America out of the labor business.

Our education should have focused on the future, it did not.

Instead of training leaders and scientists and doctors, we trained attorneys and engineers for construction.

We missed the direction, got caught in the bubble.

How do we get out of this mess?

Invest in growing American Manufacturing Businesses and build new technology.

Take litigation out of the business world, the medical world and for all our sakes the political world.
